Journey and Strength

A collaboration between friends and neighbors Yannis Mastoros of Cafe Lyria and Jill Platner 

"Our collaboration began, as the best ones do, quite organically. Yannis, returning from a trip to Greece last year, brought back with him his father's treasure trove of shells and crab claws. Together we transformed these shapes and memories into precious metal charms from the sea. In creating together, we honor our pasts while intertwining our futures, which as been the most beautiful reminder of just how deeply we are all connected." - Jill

Two symbols, each reflecting an aspect of our life's experiences.

The Sea Shell represents the journey. Though no longer alive, the shell preserved by the ocean symbolizes the voyage; one of learning and discovery shaped by the experiences that transform us over time.

The Crab Claw represents strength. The crab's cal is powerful and resilient. Used for protection and survival, it embodies unwavering determination and the ability to withstand challenges.

Together, these symbols celebrate our love and curiosity for the great unknown and the fortitude we carry within.
